The Process

We would advise anyone with a senior loved one, who may need additional assistance, to start the process sooner rather than later. It may be one, or it may be several.

It is hard to compare the hands-on, intimate, compassionate service that we provide to you when you consider the distance and lack of involvement from national companies that service individuals and facilities across the country.

Our structured and proven process ensures you find the best fit possible.

STAGE 1: INTIAL Conversation

The services that we offer may be initiated online or on the phone. We begin with a brief, informal phone conversation, this usually takes 20 – 30 minutes to complete, to help us get to know your unique situation and better prepare for our in-person meeting.

STAGE 2: Personal Needs Assessment

We will meet with you personally to get a detailed understanding of your needs, interests and concerns, as well as answer all of your questions. We will save you time from doing all the research on your own. We will educate you on what options best fit your situation.

STAGE 3: Community Match

Based on the information we gather from you, we research and narrow the list of communities meeting your needs, interests, budget and location preference. The communities we select are ones we have already visited with and physically pre-screened on your behalf. We have met the caregivers, we know what the facility looks like and we know how it operates.

STAGE 4: In-Person Tours

We coordinate & attend tours with you, including transportation to the selected communities and explain why they were chosen including quality levels of caregivers, nurses, and doctors. There are many different types of senior care assistance and living options and understanding the benefits and limits of each one will help you make the right decision. It’s also important to remember that needs may change over time, so you’ll want to consider carefully the potential for care requirements in the future.

STAGE 5: Discussion, Decision & Move-in

We help you look into available funding options, such as veteran’s aid and attendance, long term care benefits, reverse mortgages, anything that can help reduce the monthly housing cost.

You make the selection and sign a contract with the community of your choice. We help with the admission process & paperwork. We offer resources to make this a smooth and seamless transition for your family, including home companion care companies, home health companies, downsizing companies, senior move managers, elder law attorneys, veteran’s benefits and more selection based on plan short term & long-term needs.
